LOCATION WILL BE IN WINSTON SALEM NC
The Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Counselor conducts and coordinates the evaluation, assessment, referral and disposition of all persons presenting for mobile crisis services.
Graduate of an accredited program. Masters Degree in a Behavioral Health field with North Carolina Licensure / Certification which allows independent clinical practice. Masters Degree in a Behavioral Health field must have 1 year of postmasters behavioral health experience and Developmental Disabilities experience preferred. CCAS, CCS, or CSAC preferred. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient s age. Has ability to interpret information and identify each patient s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Ability to successfully complete.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sedentary Work - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including the human body, weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time). Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
